The Dart Race Series aluminum big-block gives engine builders more choices in specifications, including non-standard deck heights ranging from 9.625 to 10.400-inch, standard 4.840-inch or optional 4.900-inch cylinder bore spacing, standard or .400-inch raised camshaft with up to 60mm bearings, custom lifter diameters and locations, steel or aluminum four-bolt main bearing caps, and a choice of three head bolt patterns.Dart also offers a new forged billet aluminum big-block that is completely CNC machined from a solid billet of 6061-T61 aluminum for ultimate strength and versatility. With .750-inch thick decks and full water jackets around the cylinders, the Dart aluminum billet block can be used in the most demanding applications. The billet block offers virtually unlimited choices in deck height, bore diameter, and lifter/camshaft configuration.Includes coated cam bearings, freeze plugs and dowels.
