Brodix Aluminum Big Block Cylinder Block Information

 

8B 2000A: $4875.00       8B 2000C: $5095.00

Brodix has really done a great job on this aluminum block. Cylinder block is made of A-356 virgin aluminum to assure maximum potential for strength and reparability. The cast iron cylinder sleeves use a 1/4" register to position them correctly in the cylinder block and can be bore out to a bore size of 4.600". The 8B 2000 cylinder block can be ordered with many different roller camshaft bearing sizes ranging from standard Chevrolet to big block Ford roller. Splayed billet main caps are made of 1044 steel and are coated with black oxide. The 8B 2000A is a direct replacement cylinder block for cast iron blocks.
